Fixed on Him

What was God thinking when He
hung the earth upon nothing?

What is God doing sitting upon
the circle of the earth?

Why has He recycled the
water for so long?

Set bars and gates between
here and there?

Within the Word His wonders I see,
and I search the world and find it's all true.

Why are we here for such a short time?
Why are we born only to die?

The answer is found only through Him.
Though someday my eyes may grow dim,

I will never lose the sight He gave me
for my eyes are fixed on Him.
