(after the first round when you pass "go", you collect $200.00)
When you land on a property, you can purchace it if no one else has. If you do not want it then the other players may bid on it.
Example: of a turn:

Chose your marker from the pull down menu so you will know where you are on the board. If you wish to purchace the property, subtract the amount from your name in the box below the board, and chose your marker from the pull down menu, (OWNER) so that you will know you own that property. The cost of the property is under the name. |
|
Notes under Deed: R-10 the rent without any houses for this property is 10.00 1-$50 the rent with one house is 50.00 2-$90 the rent with tow houses is 90.00 3-270 three houses 270.00 4-400 four houses 400.00 Hotel- you must own four houses on a property before buying a hotel $550 the rent paid on this property with a hotel would be 550.00 M-50 If you wish to place a morgage on this property it would be worth 50.00 |
|
PAYING RENT - IF you land on a space and someone else already owns the property then you must pay them rent. Subtract the amount found in the deed box under R for (rent) by your name. And add that amount to the box by their name.

If all of the property of one color group is owned by one person, then he/she may collect double rent. EX: somone owns Shaddy Street, Shaddy Lane, and Shaddy Drive, then if someone lands on Shaddy Lane the rent (R) would be doubled 25X2=50. If the property landed on is mortgaged, no rent can be collected. But you can still collect double rent, if one of the properties in a color group is mortgaged.

For railroads the rent depends on how many you own. If you own one rail road the rent is 50.00, 2-100.00 ect. The cost of one Rail Road is $200.00
BUILDING HOUSES - you may buy and erect at any time as many houses as your judgement and financial standing will allow. But you must build evenly, you cannot erect more than one house on any property of any color-group until you have built one house on every property of that group. You may then begin on the second row of houses, and so on, up to a limit of four houses to a property. For example, you cannot build three houses on one property if you have only one house on another property of that group. HOTELS. ..When a player has four houses on each property of a complete color-group, he/she may buy a hotel and erect it on any property of the color-group. The cost of the Hotel would be what had been paid for the 4 houses, and an extra payment for the Hotel. The cost of each house is the (M) mortgage price
The cost of each house for Shanty Walk would be 50.00.
When you purchase a house then change your deed, so show your purchace
To keep track of what others will pay you, for each property you own.
SELLING PROPERTY. ..Unimproved properties, railroads and utilities (but not buildings) may be sold to any player as a private transaction for any amount the owner can get; however, no property can be sold to another player if buildings are standing on any properties of that color-group. Any buildings so located must be sold back to the Bank befare the owner can sell any property of that color-jp-oup. Houses and hotels may be sold back to the Bank at any time for one-half'the price paid for them.
All houses on one color-group must be sold one by one, evenly, in reverse of the manner in which they were erected.
All hotels on one color-group may be sold at once, or they may be sold one house at a time (one hotel equals five houses), evenly, in reverse of the manner in which they were erected.
MORTGAGES. ..Unimproved properties can be mortgaged through the Bank at any time. Before an improved property can be mortgaged, ail the buildings on all the properties of its color-group must be sold back to the Bank at half price.
No rent can be collected on mortgaged properties or utilities, but rait can be collected on unmortgaged properties in the same group. In order to lift the mortgage, the owns- must pay the Bank the amount of the mortgages/us 10% interest. When all the properties of a color-group are no longer mortgaged, the owner may begin to buy back houses at ftill price.
The player who mortgages property retains possession of it and no other player may secure it by lifting the mortgage from the Bank.
The owner may not collect the rent if he/she fails to ask for it before the next player clicks the dice.
"CHANCE" AND "COMMUNITY CHEST" - When you land on either of these spaces, Click on it in the center of the board, in the pop up window click on the icon, then follow the directions.
GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD - In the box ( : 8> ) below the board place the number of jail cards you have gotten in this box: When you use one then subtract that from the box.
If a player not wish to have a "get out of jail card", he/she may sell it, at any time, to another player at a price agreeable to both.
JAIL - You land in Jail when you land on the space marked "Go to Jail" or you draw a card marked "Go to Jail".
When you are sent to Jail you cannot collect your $200 salary in that move since, regardless of where your token is on the board, you must move it directly into Jail. Yours turn ends when you are sent to Jail. If you are not "sent" to Jail but in the ordinary course of play land on that space, you are "Just Visiting," you incur no penalty, and you move ahead in the usual manner on your next turn. You get out of Jail by...(1) clicking the dice and getting a "3" on any of your next three turns; if you succeed in doing this you may imediatly click the dice again and move that many space. (2) using the "Get Out of Jail Free" card if you have it; (3) purchasing the "Get Out of Jail Free" card from another player and playing it; (4) paying a fine of $50 before you click the dice on either of your next two turns.
If you do not get a "3" by your third turn, you must pay the $50 fine. You then get out of Jail and immediately move forward the number of spaces you clicked.
Even though you are in Jail, you may buy and sell property, buy and sell houses and hotels and collect rents.
HOUSES - When you own all the properties in a color-group you may buy houses from the Bank and erect them on those properties. If you buy one house, you may put it on any one of those properties. The next house you buy must be erected on one of the unimproved properties of this or any other complete color-group you may own.
The price you must pay the Bank for each house is the mortgage, shown in the pull down box, under deeds.
However, the owner may sell this mortgaged property to another player at any agreed price. If you are the new owner, you may lift the mortgage at once if you wish by paying off the mortgage.
BANKRUPTCY - You are declared bankropt if you owe more than you canpay either to another player or to the Bank. lf your debt is to another player, you must turn over to that player all that you have of value and retire from the game.
Should you owe the Bank, instead of anther player, more than you can pay (because of taxes or penalties) even by selling off buildings and mortgaging property, you must turn over all assets to the Bank. In this case, the Bank immediately sells by auction all property so taken, except buildings. A bankrupt player must immediately retire from the game. The last player left in the game wins.
PLEASE NOTE: If you turn off the computer before the game is over, or close it, or sometimes use the back button, you may have to start all over!!!!!!!!!!!
