Genesis 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2: Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
First Adam called Eve (Woman)Gen 2:23 (note both Woman and Man are capital) Then Adam called Eve, Eve in Gen 3:20. But in Genesis 5:2 God called them both Adam. according to Luke 3:38 Adam was the son of God. Very interesting stuff hugh. No complication here no confusion. (Adam and Eve both sons of God)
Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Judges 19:17 And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou? 21: So he brought him into his house, and gave provender unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink. 22: Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

25: But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
26: Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.
27: And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.
28: And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place.
29: And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.
30: And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
Leviticus 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6: Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. ICorinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? The rescue of Lot-
Genesis 19:16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. 17: And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. 22: Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing till thou be come thither. ... 29: And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
Interesting thought-
In Noahs case we see God keeping his promise to Adam and
Eve by having Noah build an ark. In Lots case The seed would not descend from him yet because of Abrahams intercession Lot was saved. Just as Jesus now interceeds for each of us.
This is interesting also for those who see a pre trib rapture.
God will preserve His people Isreal in Petra, as He preserved Noah, and His bride will be called (raptured by Jesus) before Satan is let loose upon the earth.
