Second Thessalonians Two

TH 2:1 Speaking of the second coming of Christ, and the rapture. TH 2:2 The rapture has not happened and the day of Christ is not yet. TH 2:3 Because the man of sin has not been revealed. TH 2:4 When he comes he will show himself as God. (We would know who he is, if we are here.) TH 2:5 This was already taught. TH 2:6 The man of sin is held back until his time. TH 2:7 Even though iniquity is at work, it will continue until he the man of sin, Satan, is cast into the lake of fire Rev 20:19. Because God lets him Job 1:6-12 2:1-7 Ex 4:21 5:2 7:4 Zech 3:1-4 Rev 12:10. TH 2:8 The Lord will destroy him. TH 2:9 Antichrist. TH 2:10 Those who are not written in the book of life. Perish= Greek (gather, take away, remove, destroy, consume, put all together, withdraw). These are who will be separated from God for eternity. 1) Rev 11:8,9 Dead= Greek (lifeless body, corpse, dead body. 2) Rev 20:12 Dead = Greek (dead, lit. or fig. dead). Dead 1 dead body. Dead 2 dead to God (separated). TH 2:11 The dead (2) will fall for the Antichrists lies and worship him. Rev 13:13-15. TH 2:12 Because they did not choose God. (see chosen)

2 Thess 2:9-12 God lets those who perish believe Satans lies so that the man of sin can come to power and deceive them that dwell on the earth (Rev. 13:14). But there will be those who will not worship him (Rev 13:8). The beast will cause them (should) be killed Rev 3:15. Gods Spirit will have to be with them or they would not have the strength to resist the Antichrist Rev 20:4.

God cannot leave the earth or all things would die Job 33:4 34:14,15 Ps 139:7,8 Col 1:15-17. Consist = Greek hold together, Without Gods presents the universe would be destroyed.

Acts 2:17-20 After the Comforter was sent to the believers (vs 18) (Note Numbers 11:17,25-29). Then will come the Tribulation (vs 19,20) see Rev 6:12-17. (vs 21) When this, the tribulation, comes to pass= Greek come near approach, anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. In Rev 22:17 We see the Spirit and the bride (church) saying come, which implies the invitation exists until the last judgment Rev 3:20 19:7-10 20:6-8,15.

The Spirit of God has many tasks in the Bible. When I look up large (S) and small (s), and Holy Spirit or Ghost, I see that there are not only good and bad spirits but also spirits in different things. There is also the Holy Spirit (Ghost, Comforter) which abides in us (who believe) Jn 3:6. There is confusion over spirits because of the New Age (Hindu) belief that since there is a spirit (God) in all things, all things are spirit (God), if all things are spirit (God), then there is no God. This is a very dangerous belief and we need to understand that Gods breath of life, living souls (Gen 2:7), which includes animal life (Matt. 10:29), is not the same as the Holy Spirit spoken of by Jesus in the New Testament.

(If you feel so inclined, please pass this on.)
